TURF

The Tursi Group will provide you with an in depth evaluation of your turf surface and root zone. We’ll evaluate the thickness, thatch level, color, and root depth.

DISEASES

Diseases such as rust, red thread, dollar spot, brown patch and pythium can be detrimental to healthy and durable turf growth. We’ll provide you with the ways to minimize the conditions that allow these to thrive in your turf. If they do develop, we will assist you with making the right decision to eliminate them.

NUTRIENT TESTING

Our trained staff will take soil samples from various locations around the field and have them analyzed for the critical components required to maintain a healthy field. This will allow us to make the best overall evaluation and recommend the appropriate applications and timing.

WEEDS

Weeds rob vital nutrients and limit the plants growth. Your specialist will assist with identifying the different species and if there are specific problem areas they will advise a program to eliminate the problems. As we work to control the weeks, we will aggressively condition the soil so it will allow the intended turf grasses to thrive, creating a superior durable surface.

COMPACTION TESTING

Fertilizers, water and air all work together to improve turf grass health, compaction hinders all of these elements from getting to the root zone. Lower compaction levels improves the density, health, durability and safety of your turf surfaces. Based on the test results from your Nutrient Analysis, we will outline recommendations to establish the correct level of compaction and maintain your fields for the optimum turf environment throughout the year.

INSECTS

A preventative control program is the best choice. Soil is periodically evaluated for insect activity and preventative steps are taken to eliminate them before they get a start. Grubs can be the most costly insect to damage turf and lengthen rehabilitation time if not caught early enough.

NITROGEN MANAGEMENT

Micro nutrient management can yield big results in maintaining a healthy field. We will periodically test your fields soil during the growing season to make sure you have the right amount maintained in your soil. Often times unnecessary applications are applied, we will maintain the level during the season for the densest growth and highest durability.
